Description: This uncommon blue variety is a dwarf species of ornamental crayfish found in some lakes, streams, and rivers of Mexico and even southern parts of the United States. These Blue dwarf crayfish are fantastic in planted tanks, however be cautious as these crayfish are very opportunistic and can attack fish who may be slow or dwell on the bottom of your aquarium. These crayfish are very hardy and can handle a pH of 6.0 - 7.0 and temps of 60 - 78° Fahrenheit. These crayfish will eat food your other fish may have missed, however feed sinking shrimp pellets occasionally to restore any missing nutrients is still suggested.
