Ammania Sengalensis is great for creating contrast against green counterparts. Characterized by wavy oval leaves, the coloration varies from greens to yellows and reds. We recommend it as a midground choice and when provided with proper lighting and nutrition, the colors will change from bright green to brick red. Dosing liquid iron fertilizer along with CO2 will cause this color change.
This plant does well when provided with high lighting, CO2, and a fertilizer regime. To propagate, cut new growth from the base and replant into a quality substrate.
